Help needed: Thanksgiving dinner deliveries - meet
at 8:50 a.m.
The Knight of Columbus will be distributing turkey dinners for Thanksgiving again this year. Approximately 50 dinners will be delivered on Thanksgiving morning to needy families across the Greenville area through St. Vincent de Paul Society. Dave Torlina and Bob Tonon are coordinating this effort and need help distributing the dinners on Thanksgiving morning.
At least 15 volunteers are needed to help deliver the dinners. It takes approximately 1- 2 hours to deliver 2-4 dinners per driver. Meet Thanksgiving morning at the Bi-Lo at Hudson Corners (note change in pickup location).
Please meet at 8:50 a.m.
Message from Howard Sparrow: "I have done this for the past few years and it is one of the most gratifying charitable works that you can experience, to deliver a dinner to needy family on Thanksgiving morning."
Contact Dave Torlina (davidtorlina1@bellsouth.net) directly so that he can prepare the maps and delivery instructions. Please notify Dave
asap so that he can have time to plan appropriately.
Thanks to all of those who help with this and especially Dave and Bob for organizing everything.
